Formed as the Luther Manor Auxiliary in 1958, the Friends of Luther Manor plays a vital role in supporting our ministry and serving the needs of seniors in the greater Milwaukee area.
First and foremost, Friends of Luther Manor members serve as a link between Luther Manor and the more than 70 Lutheran congregations that make up the United Lutheran Program for the Aging.
Friends of Luther Manor also provides important financial support to Luther Manor through membership dues and fundraising events. Over the years, support from Friends of Luther Manor has allowed for the purchase of furnishings, equipment for the on-campus beauty shop and ice cream parlor, and stained glass windows; as well as other gifts that enhance the lives of Luther Manor residents and those served through our home and community-based service ministries.
Membership is open to all worshipers from participating congregations who wish to meet new people, impact the lives of others, share their talents and show they care.
The membership application and more details are provided in the brochure below.
